Money is always a concern for West Kootenay businesses.

A new survey is expected to examine whether enterprises and organizations in the West Kootenay are able to borrow or access the money they need to operate and grow their businesses and services.

Arising out of the recently developed Columbia Basin Trust’s Economic Initiatives Strategic Plan, the survey is expected to help support the development of a vibrant and sustainable entrepreneurial culture within all types of enterprises and organizations in the Basin.

West Kootenay business people are asked to go to the link to the survey and give their feedback to help CBT understand what gaps in financing exist, why these gaps exist, and, what the key capital financing issues are for businesses and non-profit organizations within the Columbia Basin.

CBT has engaged an independent firm, Creekstone Consulting, to administer the survey and analyze the results.

Please feel free to contact CBT’s Rina Gresiuk, analyst, Planning and Development,  at 265.9935 or email at rgresiuk@cbt.orgif.
