The City of Rossland Adapting to Climate Change Steering Committee is holding a Priority Setting Event on Wednesday, March 3rd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Prestige Inn.

We want to know what vulnerabilities you think Rossland should be addressing to adapt to climate change – water availability, extreme events, food security, energy availability, others? The event will be informal and will involve opportunities to participate in impact mapping and discuss climate change impacts and vulnerabilities in small groups. Then participants will be asked to identify their priority vulnerabilities in an individual priority setting exercise.

A backgrounder and agenda for the event will be on-line at www.visionstoaction.ca on March 2nd.

This event will be part of the third stage in our Adapting to Climate Change process. Once the community priorities for adaptation have been identified, further analysis will be undertaken to develop action plans with regard to those priorities.

If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Ellis at visionstoaction@rossland.ca.
