MISSING UPDATE: Police still searching for 58-year-old Salmo man

Salmo RCMP continues the investigation to locateCory McKay. McKay has not been seen since June 18, 2019 at the Castlegar Shell gas station. Please see photo of Mckay, below, with the motorcycle he was believed to be driving when he was last seen. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cory McKay is urged to contact their local police, or remainanonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net

The Salmo RCMP is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing Salmo resident. Cory Thomas McKay was last seen June 18 at 10:42 a.m. at the Shell Gas Station in Castlegar.

There is nothing to indicate foul play at this time and police have followed up on several leads, however he remains missing. Police are very concerned for Cory's well-being as family and friends report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long.

A description of Cory McKay:

·Caucasian male;

·58 years old;

·5' 7 " (170 cm);

·165 lbs (75 kg);

·brown hair;

·green eyes.

Cory was known to be driving a black 1994 Triumph motorcycle BC licence plate Y61 200.

Police are encouraging Cory to contact family or the local police to confirm his well-being.
