 I recently lost some very important keys and spent the better part of two days
searching my jacket, car, house, yard to no avail. On an off-chance I went to
the Post Office to look in their 'lost keys' box.;  Low and behold, there were
my keys.  What a relief. I would like to thank the person who found my keys
somewhere on the streets of Rossland and took the time to turn...

 POWDER ALERT - issued @ Friday, January 28, 2011 - 1000 hrs. – Models show Saturday’s storm beginning mid to late afternoon and lasting to near daybreak on Monday, almost 36 hours of moderate snowfall – possible 15 to 30 cms. storm total. This could be the biggest storm of the year so far!

At Big Red Cats, we know that most Rosslanders don't often get out cat skiing because they already have season passes and they can just wait for the big dumps to come in order to get their needed powder fixes. A BLAST OF GRATTITUDE PAY IT FORWARD.... So I walked into Subway in Rossland today (Dec. 1st)to have coffee with a friend. I ordered soup and coffee. I pulled my money out to pay and the guy says "its free for you today"...I said "pardon me?" and he said..."The last customer that came in wanted to buy the next customer's lunch!" BCDC returned to the Miners Hall for the Saturday night gala at the Rossland Mountain Film Fest this year.  Back in black (errr cow suit) and back off the blacklist. If you missed the party of the week, here's a small glimpse.
