Want to join the roller derby?
Think you can take on a Dam? Wanna wear the wings of an Angel? Or is Bad News more your style? Got a Vendetta to take care of? Do you love the Killjoys, or have an axe you wanna share with the Jackies? Or are you just a brutal Babe? Here’s your chance! That’s right, the West Kootenay Womens Roller Derby League has got another round of freshie training starting soon: the week of April 29th, in Trail & Rossland! Keep your eyes peeled for more information. And start warming up those muscles!
You Must bring all your gear: mouthguard, helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, knee pads and quad skates. You Must bring $5 and a copy of your ID and health card. Gear can be purchased locally at Phat Angel (495 Baker Street, Nelson, BC) or online at www.rollergirl.ca
Registration nights are April 29th, 5 pm at the Trail Armouries (1990 7th Avenue, Trail, BC) or May 1st, 6 pm at the Rossland Arena (2000 2nd Ave, Rossland, BC). Regular practice nights will be Sundays from 5 to 6 pm at the Trail Armouries and Tuesdays from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Rossland Arena.
