It’s all part of Earth Hour, a global movement led by the World Wildlife Fund to encourage people to switch off for an hour to draw attention to the need to conserve energy.

Participation is easy. Turn off your lights and electronics for one hour. That’s it.

Earn community pride & make a difference in your community

It’s not just about winning for yourself – your community could win too!  Pledge to participate and not only could your community win bragging rights, but a nonprofit organization in your community could win too.

Here’s how it works – in the community that has the highest participation rate, a community-based organization will receive $5,000 worth of energy efficient upgrades to their building that will help lower its energy use and ongoing costs. 

The winning community will be determined based on the number of pledges received per community based on its population.  Your community is entered automatically when you complete the pledge.
