Rossland Mountain Film Festival, November 18-21

Thanks to Teck Trail Operations, the highly anticipated Gala Evening is back including an exciting new feature for the 2010 event!
The Gala will take place on Thursday November 18th in the Ross Thompson Room at the Prestige Mountain Resort. Tickets are $35 with doors opening at 6:00pm and films starting at 7:00pm.
As expected, this is a great night to put on your best dress, enjoy mountain culture and environmental films from around North America appetizers, wine and some great local entertainment provided by the Dandelions and the Ditch Weeds.
New this year is the Silent Art Auction with proceeds going to the Trail FAIR Society. The Trail FAIR Society has been in existence for over 30 years and supports families to create healthy relationships. Their Mission Statement:
“… all citizens will have the opportunity to live in a caring, non-violent community, FAIR provides appropriate assistance, referrals and the tools and supports necessary to achieve self-worth,thereby creating respectful, healthy relationships.”
