I am just wondering why there was a picture on the front page of this paper of the people who support the parking etc changes to the main street. But there is nary a word about the number of people who went to the City Council meeting on Monday to offer their opinion on the issue against parking changes.
Is it because it goes against what the people who contribute to this paper want to happen?
Andrew Bennett suggests that if there isn't a parking place in front of where a person wants to go, they will just drive a bit further until there is a space. Ask any of the merchants in town and they will tell you that this is not the case. This is a town that still depends on the automobile, even though some would like to think we do not. Want proof, just walk around McLean School before and after school.
