The Regional District of Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has issued evacuation orders for five properties in the City of Grand Forks.

The Trail and Greater District Detachment continue to investigate the stabbing incident that occurred on May 29, and can provide the following update.
One man is dead and another in hospital after a stabbing at the Tempo Gas Station in Montrose.
Trail RCMP Sgt. Mike Wicentowich confirmed that the victim, a gas station employee, is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
"I can also confirm that the suspect died of a self-inflicted wound," he added. "There is no danger to the public."
