Blaze destroys Trail home
Nineteen firefighters responded to a structure fire at 138 Reservoir Road in Trail during the wee hours of Monday morning.
Upon arrival at 2:20 a.m., they found a fully-involved blaze, which they knocked down rapidly, thus preventing its threat to other adjacent homes and structures. By 4:08 a.m., the fire was completely under control.
In a press release, Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue authorities said the residents were not home at the time, and no one was injured.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by both the RCMP and KBRFR.
