Trail man arrested for Warfield thefts

A Trail man is facing charges in connection with a break-and-enter in Warfield earlier this month, according to RCMP Sgt. Mike Wicentowich.
He said that on July 6, policereceived a report that an unknown/unknown suspect(s) broke into a detached garage overnight in the 600 block of Shakespeare Street, in Warfield, adding that the follow items were stolen:
· A Makita DHP4802 blue cordless hammer drill, battery, and charger with “Kiwi” written on the battery;
· A black Craftsman 18-volt reciprocating saw and 2 batteries with charger;
· A Craftsman grey/black 12-volt cordless drill and impact drill;
· A yellow framing nail gun;
· A red finishing nail gun;
· A blue Brad nail gun;
· A silver cut-off wheel;
· A small red air compressor;
· An orange Husqvarna 18″ gas chain saw;
· An orange Husqvarna 14″ gas concrete cutting saw with the word “Kiwi” stencilled on the bottom;
· A concrete cutting saw blade.
“(On July 17 at 10 p.m., RCMP) arrested a 36-year-old resident male suspect for this Break, Enter, and Theft contrary to Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code,” Wicentowich said. “The male was taken before a Justice of the Peace and released on conditions including curfew. The male suspect makes his first court appearance on Sept. 12, at 9 a.m. in Provincial Court in Rossland.”
Wicentowich said police are monitoring the man, whose release conditions include that he notgo to Warfield,report to bail supervisor as directed, not possess break-and-enter tools, and honour a 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. curfew during which he must present himself at his door for random curfew checks.
