OBIT: A woman so funny she named herself my Stepmonster
Betty was very quick of wit, usually quite agreeable and very funny. She was gentle, accepting, and supportive and she rarely took crap from anyone. She always had a ready response.
Her kindness and generosity of spirit usually stopped her from giving voice to unkind sentiments. She could always see the positive side of things. Further, either she was a terrible back-seat driver or she was surrounded by very bad drivers.
The jury is still out on that one.
She loved people, horses, dogs, birds, and most other living things. Her eyes beheld beauty wherever she went.
She is sorely missed by her husband of 42 years, Ron, her daughter, Kari Anderson (Keith Dyer) and son, Darren Anderson (Dina Cassidy Anderson) her grandchildren, Brooke Anderson, Tyler Anderson, and Emily Kruger. She is also missed by her step-children, Kyra Hoggan and Donovan Hoggan (Sheri Cobbe) and Betty’s step-grandchildren, Devon Hoggan, Ethan Cobbe-Hoggan, and Noah Cobbe-Hoggan.
In place of flowers, donations to the ALS Society please.
