Interior Health begins recruitment for doctor at Slocan Community Health Centre

Interior Health said in a media release Friday, it has started recruitment for a new physician for the Slocan Community Health Centre to take over Dr. Mike Magier’s practice.
Magier informed Interior Health May 16 he is leaving the area later this summer.
However, the exact departure date has not been set.
Interior Health said while recruitment moves ahead, current services will continue with Dr. Magier, Dr. Chuck Burkholder, nurse practitioner Donna Gibbons and staff will continue to support the care needs of local residents.
Interior Health will provide further updates when new information is available.
