Brain Exercise: RED Talks on April 29
It’s for sharing ideas, talent, and skills. Attend RED Talks at Rossland’s Old Firehall on April 29th, and we can enjoy an event planned by Rossland’s youth and designed for the whole community. Rossland’s Seven Summits Centre for Learning and the Rossland Youth Action Network (YAN) are hosting the third annual Red Talks.
This year’s theme is “Giving Back.”
Hannah Kroeker and Rhiana Scott are the two primary organizers, and they have lined up four adults from Rossland with varying backgrounds, and six youth: musicians, high achievers, film-makers, and artists. Hannah and Rhiana are being supported throughout their event planning by YAN Co-ordinator Mike Kent and Seven Summits Centre for Learning mentor Jonny Coleshill.
On April 29, the doors at the Old Firehall will open at 6:30 pm. The talks will start around 7:00, and end at approximately 9:30.
Tickets will be available at the door: $10 for adults and $8 for youth. All proceeds go to support youth in the community.
