Council invites you to share your thoughts on the City of Rossland’s spending for 2015. We have a challenge and we want your help. Council is working with Thoughtexchange as an innovative way to get public engagement.

Our challenge is to manage both rising operating costs and ensuring investments are made to maintain our infrastructure including roads, pipes in the ground, recreation facilities, and other concerns important to our community. In Rossland, we depend primarily on residential taxpayers. The way we pay for the services you want and what we’re required to provide is primarily through taxes on your residential property.
Our taxes must be competitive and provide good value for taxpayer dollars. The needs continue to grow and our infrastructure continues to erode. This is the challenge we face and we want your ideas on how to address it!
