'Wet, wet, wet' weekend of driving says YRB operations manager

Yellowhead Road and Bridge crews are bracing for a “wet, wet, wet” weekend on the Kootenay pass according to Operations Manager Marc Dale.
“The weekend forecast is wet, wet, wet, with the potential for our first winter driving conditions on Kootenay Pass a reality for Sunday night,” Dale said in a media release.
The forecast is for moderate rain with poor visibility due to fog for the weekend.
Drivers should expect longer travel times to destinations due the unpredictable weather.
Dale said YRB has scheduled road patrols through out the weekend with winter resources ready.
