Person dies of natural causes at Shambhala Music Festival
Shambhala Music Festival near Salmo has reported its second death in two years.
However, this fatality came as a result of natural causes said RCMP Sgt. Darryl Little said in a release issued Friday.
Little said the death occurring at the music festival being held south east of Salmo was not due to drugs.
“The deceased was from Alberta and accompanied by her husband,” he said.
The BC Coroners Service attended and is conducting the investigation.
Shambhala was rocked in 2012 when a 23-year-old man from Sydney died of a drug overdose.
The death was the first in Shambhala’s 15-year history.
