Travel trailer owner goes on wild ride after thieves steal truck & trailer

A relaxing night in a travel trailer quickly turned into a nightmare for a man in the early hours of Monday in Kamloops.
Approximately 1 a.m. Monday (June 10) Kamloops RCMP was contacted by a man reporting the trailer he was in, attached to his truck, had been just stolen.
The truck and trailer were reportedly parked at the Aberdeen Mall in Kamloops.
The man, unsure which direction the vehicle was headed, gave RCMP a description of the truck and trailer before eventually providing a landmark that alerted police to a possible location.
The stolen vehicle was located in the Sun Rivers area, but the suspect or suspects had fled.
The investigation is ongoing and RCMP area asking for anyone with information on this incident to call Kamloops Detachment at (250)828-3000 or Crime Stoppers.
