City Police shut down drug trafficking house in Nelson

Nelson Police executed a search warrant on a drug trafficking house on Carbonate Street Thursday (March 28), shutting down the operation in fast order.
The warrant was served following a long, involved investigation into drugs being dealt from the residence in the 900 block of Carbonate Street.
Arrested and charged with drug trafficking and possession charges along with weapons related charges is 61-year-old Francis Dukart.
Dukart remains is custody with an expected court date Tuesday (April 2).
Friday (March 29) a 47-year-old female was also arrested in relation to this investigation, and is facing drug trafficking charges.
She was released on conditions with a court date set for May, 2013.
