The Castlegar Rebels finally have an opponent to play for all the marbles in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.

After watching the Osoyoos Coyotes storm back to even the Okanagan Conference Final, the North Okanagan Knights scored three times in the opening period en route to a convincing 4-0 victory in Game seven of the beste-of-seven Conference Final Sunday in Armstrong.

The Knights win the series 4-3 and now advance to meet Kootenay Conference Champion Castlegar in the KIJHL Championship.

Game one of the best-of-seven final goes Tuesday in Castlegar.

Mat Lambert and Derek Andrews scored one minute apart in the first period to give North Okanagan goalie Dustin Nikkel all the support he would need to backstop the Knights to victory.

Colton Thibault also scored in the first period.

Andrews, shorthanded in the third, completed the scoring.

Nikkel stopped all 33 shots by the Coyotes.
