Bombers run past Stanley Humphries Rockers to get back into the win column

Jayden Roch dropped in a game-high 13 points to spark the L.V. Rogers Bombers to a convincing 41-14 victory over the Stanley Humphries Rockers in West Kootenay Senior Girl’s Basketball League action Thursday at the Hangar.
The Bombers, registering the first win of the New Year after four straight defeats, were in control from the opening tip as the hosts built a 27-8 halftime lead.
Samantha Einarson scored nine while Erica Augsten and Kiandra McLaren had eight and six points, respectively.
Theresa Thoms scored four points to lead the Rockers.
The Bombers improve to 3-8 on the season.
