Stingrays strike again...

The Stingrays sent 34 swimmers over to Castlegar this past weekend.
14 swimmers received medals at the meet:
Kayla Green – Div 1 Girls – Gold – 26 pts
Eden Kormendy – Div 2 Girls – Gold – 28 pts
Diego Greenwood – Div 2 Boys – Bronze – 18 pts
Connor Dunham – Div 3 Boys – Bronze – 17 pts
Daniel Merry – Div 3 Boys – Silver – 19 pts
Madison Green – Div 4 Girls – Bronze – 19 pts
Jennifer Chung – Div 4 Girls – Silver – 24 pts
Martin Gonzalez – Div 4 Boys – Gold – 25 pts
Eric Gonzalez – Div 5 Boys – Bronze – 21 pts
Oleg Liferovich – Div 5 Boys – Silver – 24 pts
Samme Beatson – Div 6 Girls – Bronze – 17 pts
Christine Cook – Div 6 Girls – Silver – 20 pts
Ryan Gurney – Div 8 Men – Silver – 24 pts
The Stingrays also won the Mile Relay at the end of the meet (1600meters).

The Stingrays achieved a time of 16 minutes and 20 seconds to claim first place in the Mile Relay.
Team Results:
1st place – Castlegar Aquanauts – 657 points
2nd place – Trail Stingrays – 598 points
3rd place – Nelson Neptunes – 503 points
4th place – Grand Forks Piranhas – 394.5 points
5th place – Colville Sharks – 295.5 points
6th place – Kimberley Seahorses – 271 points
7th place – Creston Wave – 175 points
The next meet is in Kimberley this coming weekend.
The Trail team will be hard at work this week, as this is the toughest week of the season.
We call this Hell Week!
Hell Week involves extreme training in the water and fun activities out of the water which are ongoing throughout the week.
Beach Bootcamp takes place out at Champion Lakes.
Tennis Day on Tuesday.
Hike on Wednesday.
Team night on Thursday.
Golf game to finish off the week!
