An interactive presentation describing the characteristics, advantages and variety of this form of community housing. Facilitated by Stuart McKinnon and Wolf Willow from the Middle Road Cohousing Community in Nelson BC.
Once again The Boundary Women’s Coalition is providing an opportunity for members of the communities to honour women who have made a significant difference in their lives and or their community.
Come to the Grand Forks Public Library and play board games, XBox 360 Kinect, chess. Crafts and stories. A snack will be served. No preregistration required. All ages welcome.
Local Christina Lake author Marilyn Idle will be reading from her book "Scrumptious Care". Learning tips and techniques for living a scrumptious life! Everybody welcome.

The Royal on Baker will be encouraging people to write a letter in protest of the Pipeline. There will be speakers & movies through out the day, Rafferty playing music, food & bar will be open. The Royal will pay for the postage of every letter written.

Come & check out Nakusp's 2nd Annual Winter Carnival, Feb. 10-12, 2012. Kicking off the weekend, is a Chili Cook-off & torch light parade on Friday 10th, at the Summit Lake Ski Hill, and back down at the arena the Nakusp Falcons take on the Sr. Falcons in a fundraiser hockey game.
