"4.5 Star" & "Had To" Movie Premiere w/ Drunk Uncle - Live at the Royal!

Showtime Films presents the world premiere of "4.5 Star" and "Had To." Following the movies will be local garage punk trio Drunk Uncle with their rowdy skate rock anthems. The evening will also feature prizes and giveaways from Tribute, Nelson Brewing Co. and Oso Negro. Cover is $10 or $15 and you receive a dvd. Proceeds from the evening's event goes to the Nelson Public Outdoor Skatepark. The Movie will start at 8pm.

Getting his film making start in Rossland, B.C., Begin, a man of passion, drive and skill, will return to share his story of a 20 year journey from humble beginnings to world renowned adventure film maker. In Begin’s early days, he shot revolutionary ski and bike movies such as the Kranked trilogy films and Locomotion. Now he works on commercials, feature films , short films, documentaries, TV shows , as well as corporate and promotional films.

Accompanied by the French junior alpinist Nicolas Bonnet they wanted to reach the eighth highest peak of the planet at top speed and ski down again - right through the death zone.
