Work crews continue cleanup of mudslide west of Creston

Highway work crews continue to clean up a mudslide 10 kilometres west of Creston said DriveBC website Sunday.

“Rock is getting smaller,” said the West Kootenay District for Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Twitter feed.

Highway 3 slide continues to have the road reduced to single alternating traffic through Sunday.

Other traffic news includes Highway 3A single alternating traffic at the Beasley Bluffs for brushing through to Tuesday.

As well crews West Kootenay MOTI Twitter feed said work continues on a side road in the Ainsworth area near Highway 31. Motorists are advised to watch out for traffic control personnel.
