Winning banner entries announced

As a follow up to our recent Call For Artists- Tourism Rossland is pleased to announce that the following artists submitted winning pieces in our recent call for artists:

• Jenny Baillie
• Charlene Barnes
• Louise Drescher
• Stephanie Gauvin

The Board of Tourism Rossland had the difficult job of picking only 7 pieces from the 58 which were submitted.  The banners are part of the overall Signage Strategy which Tourism Rossland has been working on over the past few years.  The funding for this project comes from the Resort Municipality Initiative which Tourism Rossland administers on behalf of the City of Rossland. 

It is expected that the 28 banners (21 for downtown and 7 for the RED Neighbourhood) will be installed in the next week (weather permitting)
