SD 20 parents warned of potential busing issues today

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for the Kootenay Region. Hazardous winter conditions with snow accumulation of up to 40 cm in Trail and 30 cm in Castlegar are to be expected. The roads conditions this morning are fair, however if hazardous road conditions are expected before the end of the day, there is a possibility that we will need to send the buses early to bring students home from school.
If we need to bus students home early today due to increasingly hazardous conditions for transportation, we will send out a follow up email and have
our message broadcast on local radio stations.
Please monitor your email and/or local radio stations throughout the day for information regarding sending students home early on the bus.
