Salmo bust nets 85 plants and 26 pounds of pot
by Trail Champion on 24 Jan 2013
Tuesday saw police seize 26 pounds of marijuana and 85 pot plants with an estimated street value between $50,000 and $150,000 during a drug raid in Salmo, according to RCMP Darryl Orr.
Orr said the search, conducted by the Trail Crime Reduction Unit with assistance from the Trail and Salmo RCMP detachments, saw one male arrested and charged with production, possession and trafficking of a controlled substance.
“Given the quantity of the seizure, it is reasonable to suspect that this marijuana, in part, was destined for sale within the City of Trail,” he added. “The Trail Crime Reduction Unit remains dedicated (to) preventing drugs from coming to Trail and hitting the streets of our community.”

Waste of Time
This is like killing one mosquito and acting like its going to affect the overall population. This is so insignificant it is laughable. Who, in their right mind, actually thinks this will have any impact whatsoever on the supply of pot? Only a fool.
This is just a waste of taxpayer money. Decriminalization is the only answer. And it will come, it's only a matter of time.
lol
wohoo you found some plants..... just think where this money could be redirected? Don't they wan't to close some schools? Keep spending money in places it does not need to be and more schools etc will be closed.
