RCMP search turns up large quantities of drugs, cash, weapons

In a media release, RCMP in Grand Forks said officers executed a search warrant on a hotel room in the downtown area and seized large quantities of drugs, cash, and weapons.

The search warrant was executed on Friday, August 2, 2019 at a hotel room in the downtown area of Grand Forks.

During the search, Terrance “Buck” Fiolleau, a 46-year-old Grand Forks man was arrested and charged with two counts of possession for-the-purpose of trafficking, two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

Also arrested was Theresa Wallace, a 34-year-old Grand Forks woman, charged with two counts of possession for-the-purpose of trafficking and two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.

Grand Forks RCMP seized a substantial amount of drugs suspected of being methamphetamine and fentanyl, over $2500 in cash, and two

prohibited weapons (tasers). Both individuals are known to police and have been held in custody. They are set to appear in Provincial Court Wednesday..

“The Grand Forks Detachment is committed to investigating and disrupting the illicit drug trade in our area,” said Sgt Darryl Peppler in the media release.

“While we are happy with this latest seizure, we are actively continuing our investigation and gathering as much evidence as possible to continue to keep our community safe.”
