To the Editor,

During September, the Canadian Cancer Society is highlighting men’s health with a fun and informative campaign – What’s Your Game Plan? – to remind men of the simple steps they can take to reduce their risk of cancer below the waist including prostate, colorectal and testicular cancers.

Each September I reflect on my own experience dealing with...

Dear editor,

After 30 bargaining sessions at the provincial table we have had no offers of pay increases, benefit improvements or the return of the class size and composition language that the BC Supreme Court recently ruled was illegally stripped from our contracts.

The court found that then-Minister of Education Christy Clark proudly led legislation based on information that...

Dear Friends,

Tens of thousands of Canadians have written to me in recent weeks to wish me well. I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughtful, inspiring and often beautiful notes, cards and gifts. Your spirit and love have lit up my home, my spirit, and my determination.

What started as a lie in an election has now evolved into Christy Clark's attempt to buy your vote by reducing the HST rate by...

Dear editor,

My recent expulsion from a Rossland City Council meeting has been widely reported.  What wasn’t reported was the events leading to that situation or the inaccurate, unfounded, and misleading statements presented by Mayor Granstrom.

I commend RCMP Constable Scott Powell for the professionalism he displayed in handling the situation.  I was impressed by his knowledge...

Dear Editor:

It is with interest that I read the comments of Minister Lynne Yelich in regard to my statement on the budget.  Rather than reiterate what I had originally said, I would like to make a few other...

RE:

Budget fails to make life more affordable for Canadian families: Atamanenko

To the Editor,

Your story “Budget fails to make life more affordable for Canadian families: Atamanenko” is misleading. As Minister of State for Western Economic Diversification...
