You may have missed La Cafamore’s “Guys Named Franz” performances earlier this year, or you may have heard them and want to hear them again.  These accomplished musicians will play the music by guys named Franz for a smaller audience, this time at 910 Earl Street, on August 9 at 7:30 p.m. and admission is a donation to the Red Cross BC Fires Appeal.  Donors will be rewarded by a bit of chocolate from Mountain Nugget, and other treats, besides the music.

The need for funds to help people evacuated from their homes by wildfire is increasing, as more people from a larger area have been forced to flee flames threatening their communities.

The venue is the home of Rossland’s Mayor Kathy Moore and her husband, Dave Cornelius, so please RSVP to:  km@2cats.net so they will know how many to expect.
