Bobsled Race Pledges for our Skatepark!

The Sonny Samuelson Bobsled Race is also a fundraiser for the Rossland Skatepark Association (RSA) this year. Registration for the bobsled race is easier than ever now because it has moved on-line.
RSA board member Barry McLane said, “We approached race organizer Kelly Acheson with the idea of having race teams collect donation pledges for the skatepark, leading up to this year’s race. We’ve had great success with people collecting pledges for challenges in the past. We’re excited to be connecting with the bobsled race to raise the final funds needed to build Rossland’s skatepark this year.”
Acheson was immediately on board: “I thought it was a great idea and wanted to do anything I could to support RSA.”
Once a team’s online registration is complete, a challenge profile for the team is automatically created on RSA’s crowdfunding page, www.yodel.org.
Team members can then share their profile link with friends and supporters, and encourage them to support their team and the skatepark with pledges.

The race is scheduled for January 30, at 9:30 am, on Spokane Street in upper Rossland. Be there for thrills, chills and potential spills.
