Welcome to the Megaphone. This is your place to post the news that matters to you. If someone's getting married or getting born, this is the place to let your community know. If you want to thank someone for a good turn or lambaste the noisy, nosy, or woefully ignorant, do it here. Basically, anything you think your community need to know about: use the megaphone and make yourself heard.

Just a reminder, there are thieves among us here in the Golden City; Last night my van was entered (I don't say "broken into" because I haven't been in the habit of locking it up) and several items were stolen from the front console.
The only item of any real value was an industrial Petzl headlamp that I use at work; see attached photo. These headlamps are not normally sold in ski shops...
Hey RSS parents! The food store really, really needs volunteers for this school year. If you can volunteer for 1.5 hours a week, or even every second week, at lunchtime (i.e. every Tuesday, or every second Thursday) please email firstname.lastname@example.org. It's a great way to stay involved with the school and get to know the kids better!

Not only does Andrew Bennett keep us all entertained and informed of the goings-on in Rossland, he contributes to our community in a big way. One small example was his dedication to cancer prevention, shaving off his hair and raising over $500 to support Prevent Cancer Now.
Thanks so much, Andrew! You are a prince among men (albeit a somewhat hair-less one).
