Bemused by the empassioned stand of Nelson's Mayor Dooley on a City Council Meeting proposal to Stop the Violence, ie decriminalize and tightly regulate Marijuana as the only sensible way to reduce its harms in Society.  One cannot but wonder "cui bono": who stands to gain by his position?  The Mayor seems certain of its popular appeal to the voters; now isn't that a bit odd for the small cool Arts Town much sought for its urbane tolerance of public pot and good times?  Could it be the economy-first vote, then?  How many people in his town are employed
